From our beautiful organic garden, we are gifted with an abundance of fresh, seasonal and locally-grown fruit and vegetables. This means that all our produce is free of pesticides, herbicides and GMO’s. Instead we rely on natural techniques. This has great benefits for both you and the planet.
In terms of your health, consuming organic produce means you will receive an array of nutrients and important phytochemicals (vitamins and antioxidants) without also intaking nasty residue pesticides, herbicides and fungicides. Organic farming practices also significantly benefits the planet as it does not contaminate soil and underground water, conserves biodiversity, reduces global warming (due to the fact that the produce is most often locally distributed), and minimises erosion.
Our gardeners and lovely volunteers take care of our garden each day, the love and hard work they put into the garden being rewarded by each harvest and delicious meal that is cooked on-site using the freshest ingredients. It is the very definition of healthy farm-to-table eating.
